Hey farm friend! We butchered our first batch of chickens over the weekend and had some fantastic farm fun at the pick-up party on Sunday.
We’ll be eatin’ good tonight here on the farm. I have a chicken in the slow cooker as I type. There is NOTHING more ridiculously delicious than a pasture-raised, family-loved, farm-fresh chicken!
(I’ll share my favorite slow cooker technique next week!)

If you missed getting in on last week’s chickens … not to worry! Our next pick-up day will be Sunday, August 16!
We have a beautiful batch of young birds that are loving this summer’s rich, green pasture. Mother Nature’s periodic rain showers are keeping the grass in prime condition. And that makes for very happy chickens.
Getting in on this delicious action is easy:
Pre-order at WindWolfFarm.com. But you won’t pay until pick-up day. The price is $7 per pound and most weigh 5-7 pounds.
Be sure you get a confirmation email that notes the pick-up date and the quantity you ordered.
Come for pick-up day on Sunday, August 16 from 2-4:00 pm at our farm, 1501 N. 600 W., Lebanon, Indiana, and enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and festivity! You’ll pick out what chickens you want and pay by check, Venmo, or PayPal. First come, first serve.
