And I feel your pain. News reports about animal cruelty and land destruction left me sad, confused, frustrated, and overwhelmed too.

In 2021, we moved back to my family’s six-generation farm. We taught ourselves how to raise happy chickens in a way that honors their lives and the land. It gave me hope.
