Use your FOOD DOLLAR to show you care

Animal cruelty on factory farms is a sad reality in our world. I know it’s depressing. I also know it’s something you’re concerned about.

You’re standing at the meat counter. The package you’re holding has a picture of a red barn on it. You want to believe that animal was raised with care by a family on a farm with a red barn.

But we can’t know what an animal’s life was like unless we see where they lived.

If you’re gonna be a chicken, be a chicken at our farm.

Lucky for you, you know a farmer (me!) who raises chickens with love and care. I welcome those fragile little creatures to our farm, carefully handling each one, the day after it was born.

They get clean bedding, clean water, clean feed and time and space to play, eat, drink, and nap with their fellow fluffy friends.

And as soon as they’re big enough, we move them out to green grass in the pasture!

Important note here … Some farms sell “pasture raised” chicken that’s mostly been kept in an enclosed barn. They open a small door to a worn-out patch of dirt and call it pasture raised.

In reality, those birds have probably already learned to be indoor birds at that point and they’ll stay where the feed and water are.

Some of them might never step outside. But you’re paying a premium for that label.

In contrast, our chickens LIVE on the grass and I move the pens to fresh grass at least once a day.

That means every day is filled with fresh green grass, sunshine, breezes, clean water, worms, bugs, nonGMO grains, NO antibiotics, and NO chemicals!

And when harvest day comes, each bird is handled by the same hands that welcomed them here … mine! I say a blessing over each one, then dispatch it for the butchering process. No transportation. No stress.

The result is a quality of meat that is ridiculously delicious. Even people who have been buying farm fresh chicken for years say ours is different.

And good news … we’ll have a batch ready soon!

Stay tuned and you’ll be the first to know when our online ordering is open.

We can’t wait to fill your grills, ovens, slow cookers, instant pots … and freezers … with THE BEST chicken money can buy!
